About The Position

The Restaurant Manager plays a vital leadership role in ensuring every aspect of the restaurant operates with excellence, efficiency, and a true commitment to outstanding hospitality. Your ability to oversee daily operations, guide and develop team members, uphold food and service quality, and maintain seamless coordination between the front‑of‑house and culinary teams directly contributes to delivering the signature dining experience that defines the Live! brand. Through strong operational oversight, thoughtful leadership, and a passion for creating exceptional guest moments, you help cultivate an environment where both guests and team members feel valued, supported, and inspired.

Requirements

  • Ability to analyze and interpret restaurant operational results.
  • Ability to solve complex problems.
  • Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under pressure.
  • A variety of task and deadlines requires irregular work schedule.
  • Ability to perform in an interruptive office environment. Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner.
  • Preferred, five (5) to seven (7) years’ experience in restaurant management and supervision.
  • Preferred, a four (4)-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position and an Alcohol Beverage Control card any applicable health certificates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the business plan and budget for the restaurant.
  • Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food, and drink necessary to operate the restaurant.
  • Manages areas of responsibility to enhance the gaming experience of guests to Live! Casino & Hotel in becoming the number 1 gaming and entertainment venue in the Mid-Atlantic region.
  • Development of staff to include training, interviewing for hires, conducts disciplinary counseling and performance evaluations.
  • Review staffing levels to maintain a budgeted level of employment. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
  • Review departmental status with Food and Beverage Director.
  • Develop and manage programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
  • Meets with directors and managers as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
