About The Position

The Manager of Crossings is responsible for ensuring an outstanding guest experience. This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests, supervisors, and team members. This position has supervisory responsibilities and will oversee Crossings Café, Mian, and Slice assistant managers, supervisors, and team members.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the business drivers in the industry.
  • Demonstrates the ability to establish credibility and rapport with operating leaders.
  • Ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays.
  • Minimum 3 years as general manager of a full-service restaurant.
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A strategic thinker and creative problem solver who takes the initiative and ownership
  • Self-starter with a creative mind and a track record of putting ideas into practice and assessing results
  • Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).

Responsibilities

  • Possesses complete knowledge of all procedures related to the job.
  • Continuously fosters great relationships with team members in all areas and mentors others to do the same.
  • Ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
  • Sets standards by being cooperative, helpful and friendly, and by presenting a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.
  • Ensures proper staffing for forecasted volume and budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensures strict adherence to all policies and procedures.
  • Monitors inventories and reports discrepancies to the Director of Food & Beverage.
  • Takes the beverage end of period inventory and presents it to the Director of Food & Beverage and Department Analyst.
  • Takes weekly inventory of all supplies to ensure all equipment and products needed is on hand and properly rotated.
  • Holds periodic meetings with team members.
  • Meets budgeted figures for labor and other expenses.
  • Ensures excellent guest service.
  • Notify team members of changes in policy and procedure.
  • Must work closely with Department Trainer to ensure all new hires are trained both with classroom and floor programs.
  • Ensure all existing team members attend follow-up training sessions.
  • Communicate any problems or concerns to the Director of Food and Beverage and other departments as needed.
  • Works with all departments to ensure proper communication.
  • Participate in departmental meetings as required.
  • Maintain files in such a way that another supervisor could perform efficiently in the event of his/her absence.
  • Promotes the Casino through good will and positive attitude.
  • Maintains high sanitation and safety standards.
  • Maintains security of products and areas assigned to the department.
  • Understands that this is a 24-hour responsibility and is always accessible.
  • Sets high standards by complying with all departmental rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensures that all Team Members are treated in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Perform any other duties as specified or assigned by the Director of Food and Beverage or any member of Executive Management.
  • All other duties as assigned.
