About The Position

The Restaurant Manager leads restaurant operations, focusing on high-quality seafood and beverage service and guest satisfaction. The manager hires, trains, and inspires team members, drives sales, and creates a safe, supportive environment where employees can develop. The role also includes ensuring compliance with employment policies, managing team performance, and maintaining safe food-handling practices and a clean, safe environment for guests.

Red Lobster provides an in-restaurant training program for new Restaurant Managers, individual development plans, ongoing training and certification programs, and leadership mentoring. The company emphasizes career growth and flexibility to help managers balance their professional and personal lives. Restaurant operating hours are between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience in a restaurant, hotel, retail, or general business setting is required.
• ServSafe and local and state certifications are required, or the ability to obtain them.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of casual dining or full-service restaurant management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
