Coordinates and directs restaurant activities during the shift based on guest traffic flow. Monitors sales, employee hours, and guest counts throughout the shift to ensure proper staffing. Directs hourly employees to fulfill job duties and priorities. Coaches employees on guest service skills, service cycle, and other guest-focused activities to meet or exceed guest service standards. Interacts with guests inquiring about food and service. Monitors employee break procedures to ensure breaks are taken as scheduled according to federal, state or local regulations. Completes shift walk-throughs, including temperature checklist and takes corrective actions. Establishes and maintains appropriate security protocols for guest, employee, and facility safety. Provides regular training and quality performance results to managers and employees. Ensures timely completion of all financial obligations and reporting, including payroll, payables and receivables, etc. Recognizes and celebrates the contributions and achievements of others.
