About The Position

Southern Classic Chicken is looking for strong, hands-on leaders to join our team in Tyler, Texas. This program offers an opportunity to manage a shift, develop people, create memorable guest experiences, and support a culture grounded in the mission: To Bring You Back. Available positions include Shift Leader and Assistant Manager.

Requirements

Restaurant, retail, hospitality, or customer-service leadership experience
A positive, hands-on leadership style
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
The ability to coach employees while maintaining clear expectations
Dependability and availability to work restaurant operating hours
A commitment to excellent food, service, cleanliness, and safety
The confidence to make decisions and the humility to receive feedback
A genuine desire to develop people and serve the Tyler community

Nice To Haves

Previous restaurant management experience is preferred for Assistant Manager candidates.
High-potential candidates with strong leadership experience in another fast-paced industry are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Lead by example during busy, fast-paced shifts
Coach employees with clarity, consistency, and respect
Deliver hot, fresh food and genuine Southern hospitality
Maintain strong standards for food safety, cleanliness, service, and accountability
Address guest and employee concerns promptly and professionally
Manage labor, cash-handling, inventory, and shift execution as appropriate to the position
