About The Position

The Restaurant Kitchen Manager ensures seamless day-to-day kitchen operations and upholds company standards as a brand ambassador. The role focuses on delivering an excellent guest experience through scratch cooking, unique artisanal American food, and gourmet burgers. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for inventory, ordering, and key profit-and-loss lines, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and a “better for being here” mentality. Red Robin is a high-volume, full-service restaurant with a laid-back atmosphere and a uniquely quirky vibe. The company emphasizes hospitality, connection, fun, generosity, growth opportunities, and a sense of belonging.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Two years of management experience.
Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable transportation.
Strong communication and exceptional leadership skills.
Ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a team dedicated to execution, hospitality, and service.
Strong P&L knowledge.
Ability to obtain certifications or permits required by state or local law.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of local and state health codes.
Experience with Workday, Aloha, NBO, and Hot Schedules.
Experience managing a team.
