The Restaurant Hostess / Busser role at Springfield University Plaza involves greeting guests, taking and delivering orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience. This position also includes scheduling reservations, answering phone calls, assisting with special requests or events, monitoring tables, coordinating with the kitchen, and handling guest inquiries. Additionally, the role requires processing payments, ensuring proper tip reporting, closing out sales, and maintaining clean and stocked service stations. The hotel is seeking individuals with a great attitude and a passion for teamwork, offering training even for those with no prior experience. Restaurant, customer service, or cashier experience is preferred, as are Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to obtain them). The ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs during the shift is necessary, along with flexible availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
