About The Position
As a Host/Hostess, you are the first and last impression for our guests. You’ll welcome guests with a friendly attitude, manage seating and wait lists, answer phones, assist with take-out orders, and help keep the front-of-house running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Requirements

- Ability to stay calm and courteous in busy or stressful situations
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and seat them promptly
- Manage guest seating preferences and maintain an accurate wait list
- Inform guests of wait times and notify them when tables are ready
- Provide menus and answer guest questions about the restaurant
- Answer the telephone and respond to guest inquiries
- Take, enter, package, and process payment for take-out orders
- Assist servers by refilling beverages, clearing plates, and responding to guest needs
- Maintain cleanliness of the lobby, host stand, and restrooms
- Monitor restroom supplies and cleanliness
- Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and security standards
- Comply with all applicable laws regarding the service of alcoholic beverages
- Offer a friendly parting comment to departing guests
- Perform other guest service duties as assigned
