Requirements

A welcoming personality and a passion for great service
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Strong verbal and written communication skills
The ability to multitask and stay cool under pressure

Responsibilities

Greeting guests with a warm smile and escorting them to their tables
Managing reservations, ensuring every guest is seated comfortably and fairly
Keeping track of special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries
Answering phones with a friendly tone and assisting guests with reservations and inquiries
Knowing the menu thoroughly, including daily specials and ingredients
Ensuring the host stand is always covered and operating efficiently
Pulling out chairs and ensuring guests are seated with care
Checking in with departing guests to wish them well and gather feedback on their experience
Passing along guest feedback and notifying a manager of any concerns
