About The Position
The Restaurant Host at Nordstrom Grill greets and seats customers promptly and professionally, shares knowledge and enthusiasm about the menu and products, and helps provide outstanding customer service. The host may assist with training new employees by reinforcing successful performance and offering support. The role may also support other restaurant areas, including answering telephones, processing financial transactions, stock work, cleanup, and documentation. Hours and schedule vary by week according to business needs.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- 1 or more years of experience in food service or hospitality.
