About The Position
The Restaurant Host at Nordstrom Grill greets and seats customers promptly and professionally, and shares knowledge and enthusiasm about the restaurant’s menu and products. The host may assist with training new employees by reinforcing successful performance and offering help as needed. The role also supports other restaurant areas as requested, including answering telephones, completing financial transactions, stock work, cleanup, and documentation. Hours and schedule vary by week according to business needs.
Requirements
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Have a food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of food service or hospitality experience (preferred).
Responsibilities
