About The Position

Perky Beans Coffee & PB Cafe in Leander, TX is looking to hire a full-time or part-time Host / Hostess with weekend availability. This part-time position in the food service industry earns a competitive wage plus tips, totaling approximately $17 - $19/hr. Perky Beans Coffee has grown from a mobile coffee truck to a family-owned and operated establishment offering two concepts under one roof: Perky Beans Coffee (a coffeehouse with a drive-thru) and PB Cafe (a sit-down restaurant serving breakfast and lunch classics). Our mission is to serve delectable recipes with quality ingredients, be a partner with the community, and support local schools and non-profits. Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Customer service experience
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing throughout the shift, bending, climbing, moving quickly, and lifting up to 25 pounds
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Commitment to providing prompt customer service
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly organized and efficient
• Weekend availability

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and lead them to their tables.
• Manage the waitlist, providing accurate wait times and keeping guests informed.
• Buss tables to speed up seating.
• Restock stations.
• Assist with online order pickups.
• Enhance the guest experience, ensuring everyone feels valued and welcome.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Keep the restaurant clean and presentable.
