The Restaurant Host/Hostess position is responsible for greeting and seating guest in assigned dining area. This role requires maintaining an upbeat and positive attitude, creating positive energy with gestures and sustaining enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. The Host/Hostess will greet guests upon their arrival and escort them to the appropriate table in the dining area, while also providing assistance to both guests and team members when necessary. Responsibilities include maintaining order and cleanliness in the dining room, reporting all complaints to management, and ensuring that food servers and bus persons are present, chairs and tables are properly positioned, and station groupings are assigned. The role also involves distributing checks, handling comps, food coupons, and Player cards, and ensuring proper check and cash control procedures are carried out. The Host/Hostess will consistently demonstrate superior customer service skills, create an atmosphere of luck and celebrate guest’s wins, and build relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. They will anticipate needs, provide fast, flawless service, check for satisfaction, and effectively resolve service breakdowns. Additionally, the role includes promoting Caesars Rewards programs and card membership, providing a warm farewell, and completing special assignments for management as requested.
