About The Position

The 34° North Restaurant located inside the Beaufort Hotel is currently seeking friendly and guest-focused Hosts/Hostesses to join our Food & Beverage team. As the first and last point of contact for many guests, the Host/Hostess plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience. We are looking for someone with a warm personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
Manage seating arrangements and wait lists efficiently
Escort guests to tables and provide menus
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby areas
Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management regarding table availability and guest flow
Answer guest questions regarding menus, restaurant hours, and hotel amenities
Assist with guest requests and ensure a positive dining experience
Help maintain clean and properly set dining areas as needed
Handle phone calls, reservations, and guest inquiries professionally
Maintain a friendly and professional appearance at all times
