About The Position

The Restaurant Host/Barista is responsible for greeting and seating guests, answering phone calls, and taking reservations. This role also involves assisting the barista in taking orders, preparing coffee and drink orders, packaging and delivering food orders, and collecting payments.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write English.
• Communication and hospitality skills (English required).
• Ability to answer phones.
• Ability to work with money.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct all guests.
• Ensure all tables are properly set before seating guests.
• Answer phone properly and follow all reservation procedures.
• Organize and maintain a clean station.
• Assist barista in taking orders and enter into point of sales.
• Collect payment and make correct change when necessary.
• Prepare coffee and drink orders according to specifications.
• Package and deliver food orders.
• Maintain an inventory of needed supplies.
• Ensure all menus are clean before shift.
• Be familiar with hotel facilities and their location and hours.
