About The Position

Hotel Thaynes, a Tribute Portfolio property in Park City, is seeking an AM Host/Barista to be the face of our hotel restaurant. This role involves warmly greeting and assisting guests, upholding Marriott's hospitality standards, managing reservations, seating guests, providing menus, answering phone calls, coordinating with servers, maintaining the host stand, assisting with takeout orders, handling guest concerns, and crafting quality coffee and tea beverages. The position also offers the opportunity to learn about the hotel and assist the front desk team, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

Be the face of our hotel restaurant - warmly greet and assist arriving guests
Uphold Marriott's hospitality standards and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere
Managing reservations and maintaining the waitlist.
Seating guests according to table availability and server sections.
Providing menus and informing guests of daily specials or promotions.
Answering phone calls and taking reservations.
Coordinating with servers and managers to ensure smooth table turnover.
Maintaining a clean and organized host stand and entrance area.
Assisting with takeout orders or directing guests to the appropriate area, if applicable.
Handling guest concerns professionally and notifying management when needed.
Thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return.
Craft quality coffee and tea beverages.
