About The Position

Sterling Restaurants is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead a Moe’s Southwest Grill restaurant. The General Manager owns daily operations, team development, guest experience, and financial performance, while building a welcoming restaurant and helping team members grow. The role involves recruiting and developing managers and crew, running effective shifts, maintaining food quality and safety, resolving guest concerns, driving business results, and supporting catering, local marketing, and community relationships.

Sterling Restaurants was founded in 2009 and operates nearly 90 Moe’s restaurants across seven states. The company describes its purpose as helping people realize and achieve their dreams, with developing people and running great restaurants at the heart of its business.

Requirements

• Restaurant management experience leading people, operations, and business results.
• Strong hiring, training, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to hospitality, food safety, and leading alongside the team.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and coach managers and crew members; set expectations and develop future leaders.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, inventory, and ordering.
• Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Lead by example in delivering welcoming service, resolve guest concerns, and use feedback to make improvements.
• Manage sales, labor, food costs, and profitability.
• Support catering, local marketing, and community relationships.
