About The Position

As a Bourbon Steak Restaurant General Manager, your leadership and passion will ensure outstanding operating results through exciting promotional programs, an engaged team and consistent guest satisfaction. This individual will inspire, grow and develop colleagues in addition to potential leaders. Provide support to F&B management team as well as all other duties required for the efficient operation.

Requirements

• Previous Food & Beverage GM experience in a leadership role required, 2-3 years as restaurant GM preferred.
• Strong Food, spirit, wine & beer knowledge
• Understanding of luxury service standards, steps of service & luxury benchmarks
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
• University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• High integrity and work ethics
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage wine program and provide oversight and direction to sommelier team.
• Ability to manage, cocktail and bar program and manager Lead Bartender and team
• Understanding of Service vs. Hospitality
• Entrepreneurial mind set and drive to push Bourbon Steak activations and initiatives

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Lead and manage the F&B Outlet team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
• Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
• To assist in the recruitment and training of F&B Colleagues
• Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
• Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings
• Maximize revenues by communicating regularly with the Food and Beverage teams to implement agreed upon strategies, practices and promotions
• Have full knowledge of all Outlet menus
• Manage the departmental budget
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Other duties as assigned
