About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Restaurant Manager to lead operations at The Seagate. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional service, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and presentation, and fostering a positive, motivated team culture. This position plays a key role in enhancing guest satisfaction, optimizing operational efficiency, and maintaining the warm, welcoming atmosphere that defines The Seagate.

Requirements

  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of food, beverage, and wine service, as well as current dining trends.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and engage actively with members and staff.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • ServSafe Manager Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise dining room, bar, and service staff, ensuring seamless operations and a welcoming environment.
  • Build strong relationships with members, anticipating their preferences and delivering personalized service.
  • Coordinate with the culinary team on menus, specials, and event dining to enhance the member experience.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and readiness of all dining areas in accordance with club standards.
  • Manage staff scheduling, assignments, and labor costs to achieve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory, equipment, and supplies, ensuring readiness for service and special events.
  • Resolve member/guest concerns promptly and professionally, focusing on service recovery and satisfaction.
  • Implement service standards and recommend process improvements to elevate the dining experience.
  • Develop and manage budgets for labor, supplies, and operations to meet financial goals.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
