About The Position
The Restaurant Expeditor helps provide outstanding customer service by ensuring food and beverage items are correctly delivered to customers. The role serves as a liaison between the front and back of the house and requires clear, professional communication and knowledge of the restaurant's menu and products. The expeditor may also support other restaurant areas, including answering telephones and completing financial transactions. This is a seasonal position at the Marketplace Café in Downtown Seattle.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Basic math and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store needs.
- Food handler's card may be required according to local and/or state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
