The main goal of the Expeditor is to ensure that food service is coordinated and timely. The Palmetto Dining Room is a vibrant and bustling restaurant on the Still Hopes campus where workers provide an exceptional dining experience to our residents. The Restaurant Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining area. This position works closely with both the kitchen staff and the wait staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will be essential to success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to prioritize orders and ensure timely preparation of dishes.
- Garnish and plate dishes according to established standards, paying close attention to presentation and accuracy.
- Coordinate with wait staff to ensure that orders are delivered promptly and accurately to the correct tables.
- Monitor the quality and quantity of food items to prevent shortages or overages.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise.
