About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel Austin is seeking a Restaurant Chef to join our dynamic Food & Beverage Team. We are looking for someone with excitement and dedication in serving our guests. Satisfying our guests depends on the united efforts of many, we are most effective when we work together cooperatively, respecting each other’s contribution and importance. This role is a Department Head level, reporting to the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef. The Restaurant Chef will manage the kitchen team to make sure product always exceeds expectations of the guest. The Restaurant Chef will oversee services of Ciclo, Live Oak and Room Service in accordance with production requirements and quality standards.

Requirements

College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of five years of previous experience as a Sous Chef in a culinary/food & beverage line, supervisory, or assistant manager position, preferably in a high-volume hotel, restaurant, or luxury hospitality environment.
Food Handlers Certifications required.
Work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities
