About The Position

The Restaurant Captain – Bar & FOH Operations is responsible for overseeing front-of-house service with a primary focus on bar operations. This hourly leadership role ensures high-quality service, operational efficiency, and an outstanding guest experience, while supporting and guiding FOH team members.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant leadership or bartending experience required
  • Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation and bar operations
  • Knowledge of food and alcohol pairings
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • POS and cash handling experience preferred
  • 2+ years of restaurant experience
  • Prior bartending experience required

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring adherence to Aramark standards for quality, safety, and service
  • Oversee cocktail preparation, recipe consistency, and presentation standards
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverage pairings
  • Act as a floor leader, directing FOH staff
  • Support, coach, and mentor bartenders and service staff
  • Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service policies
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and FOH areas
  • Assist with inventory and product control
  • Address and resolve guest concerns
  • Collaborate with BOH and management teams
  • Step into service roles as needed
  • Support opening/closing duties including cash handling
