About The Position

The Restaurant Bartender at Odyssey Restaurant is responsible for preparing and serving a wide array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair. This role requires engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner to ensure a memorable experience, demonstrating expert knowledge of whiskey varieties, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area. The bartender must adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service, and collaborate with colleagues to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence. Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment
  • Strong knowledge of whiskey and other spirits, with a passion for mixology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • TIPS or similar certification (can obtain upon hire)
  • Customer Service - Advanced

  • 1 year: Bartending

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of whiskey varieties, including origins, flavor profiles, and pairing suggestions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking inventory and managing supplies.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring responsible service of alcohol at all times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to uphold Odyssey's reputation for excellence and hospitality.
  • Provide assistance to other team members and perform additional duties as assigned.
