About The Position

At Ampersand27 and Varscona Hotel on Whyte, we are looking for our next great team member to join our Restaurant team. Bartending at Ampersand27 isn’t just about mixing drinks. Instead, it is about building an experience that is memorable and unique for our guests. You will have the basics down but are constantly on the look-out for new trends, and guests’ evolving needs. You will use your knowledge and expertise to make the bar look and function flawlessly. You are passionate about the guest service experience, but also have an eye for detail – from the money that moves through their hands, to the information they provide to guests, to the quality of their drinks.

Requirements

• Keen eye for detail
• Very organized
• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying or placing objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
• Ability to work a variety of different shifts, including days, evenings and weekends

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of new trends in bartending
• Understanding of guests' evolving needs
