About The Position

The Restaurant Bartender at DoubleTree by Hilton Cedar Rapids Convention Complex prepares and serves beverages while creating memorable guest experiences through warm, attentive hospitality. The role includes mixing and garnishing drinks to recipe standards, maintaining bar supplies and inventory, processing payments, and helping ensure a safe and compliant environment. The shift begins at 3 p.m.; availability on weekends and holidays is required. Starting pay is $10.55 per hour plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Provide upbeat, friendly service and proactively look for ways to make guest experiences special.
• Mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to recipe standards.
• Stock and organize beverages, glassware, and perishable supplies for bar operations.
• Accurately process cash, credit and debit cards, gift certificates, and vouchers using the point-of-sale system.
• Manage inventory and ensure beverage-related products are fresh and of good quality.
• Address concerns involving intoxicated guests with care and respect while maintaining a safe environment.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
• Work shifts beginning at 3 p.m. and be available on weekends and holidays.
