About The Position

As a Housekeeper at the DoubleTree Cedar Rapids Convention Complex, you help create memorable guest experiences by maintaining clean, welcoming guest rooms and delivering warm, responsive service. The role includes cleaning and tidying rooms, replenishing linens and amenities, managing housekeeping supplies, responding to guest requests, and disposing of waste. Starting wage is $16 per hour. Start times are 8 a.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy assigned guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and performing deep-cleaning tasks as needed.
• Replace bed linens, towels, and guest essentials as needed.
• Stock, maintain, and transport the housekeeping supply cart daily.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
