We are hiring a Restaurant and Catering Bartender to prepare and serve beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. Requirements

Must adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
Must be able to requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
Must be able to maintain stock, prepare, cure and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
Must greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
Must be able to take and/or process orders for drinks; mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practice prudent portion control.
Must check guests at the bar for proper identification.
Must detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained.
Must demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
Must be able to receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed.
Must be able to lock up and store all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops; secure bank.
Must perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keep work area clean and organized.
Must arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
Must wash and sterilize stemware.

Responsibilities

Sets up assigned bars; requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
Maintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
Takes and/or processes orders for drinks; mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practices prudent portion control.
Checks guests at the bar for proper identification.
