About The Position

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is a leader in providing fitness solutions that engage and connect people both on-site and online, to create a strong community of health. The Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness Center, managed by HealthFitness, is seeking a Rest & Recovery Specialist to join their team in Bentonville, AR. In this unique role, you'll be the first point of contact for members looking to relax and recharge, guiding them through innovative recovery technologies and delivering exceptional wellness experiences. This full-time opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys creating meaningful member connections, promoting well-being, and helping others feel their best every day. The schedule for this position is 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 1:30pm - 8pm. The specialist will oversee the delivery of services and all related equipment and direct member programs in the Rest and Recharge department. They will demonstrate and guide guests through multiple recovery technologies for a quality experience, serving as the first impression for guests seeking to relax and rejuvenate.

Requirements

• High School diploma and 1+ years’ experience in the health and wellness field.
• Demonstrated commitment to a health-related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years’ related industry experience.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification through the American Heart Association, Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
• Competency in the delivery of HealthFitness and site-specific programs and services.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and other software.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in massage therapy, recovery, stretching, etc.

Responsibilities

• Oversees recovery suite areas – both complimentary and paid services; interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety.
• Provides direct program services in a variety of areas (e.g., cryotherapy, treatment, hydrotherapy, compression, red light, etc.).
• May assist with marketing and communication.
• Assists with Whole Health programming.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.
