About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Response Security Officer in Hartford, Connecticut. This is a casual role in which duties vary by day and special event. The officer may provide customer service, conduct patrols, or perform surveillance, adapting to changing assignments and situations. The position includes monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and protecting people and property.

The listed schedules are Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m.–7 p.m., and Friday, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.; or Saturday and Sunday, 2 p.m.–10 p.m., and Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. The latter schedule is identified as a mobile driver assignment and requires a driver’s license. Pay is $18.75 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have responsive and strong problem-solving skills.
• Hold a state license if one is required.
• A driver’s license is required for the mobile driver assignment.
