The Business Intelligence Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s commercial strategy by harnessing the power of data to generate insights that drive marketing effectiveness, sales enablement, and customer engagement. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to market trends, customer behavior, campaign performance, and competitive activity. By combining business intelligence methodologies with a deep understanding of marketing KPIs and customer segmentation, the manager delivers actionable recommendations that support go-to-market strategies, identify growth opportunities, and enable cross-functional decision-making. This position collaborates closely with marketing, sales, product management, and other departments to ensure that strategic decisions are informed by accurate, timely, and relevant data. Requirements

  • Master’s degree or MBA, with a focus on analytics or business intelligence, data science.
  • Three years plus (3+) years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of the compounding pharmaceutical industry. Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations, industry guidelines, and market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, market research tools, and other data sources relevant to the organization's industry.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and extract actionable insights.
  • Experience in leading or managing projects involving data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software such as Excel, or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and market research methodologies.
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail‐oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and cross‐functionally.
  • Strong problem‐solving skills and the ability to think critically about business challenges
  • Proficiency of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel) required as well as Power Bi & Power Point required.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent in French and English (oral & written) required. The role requires English because they will be working with global partners and researching competitors across the globe and presenting data analysis to members of leadership in Australia.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize data from various sources, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, as well as external sources such as industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Integrate internal and external data from multiple sources, including Power BI, CRM, Teams channels, and market research reports, into a cohesive reporting structure.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting frameworks, and data visualizations to effectively communicate key insights to stakeholders.
  • Maintain consistency and accuracy in reporting across teams, ensuring a shared understanding of key performance indicators.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within data to uncover opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Address specific business questions or key projects related to optimizing current strategies through ad-hoc analysis, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Effectively communicate insights, recommendations, and strategic implications to leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and develop metrics for measuring business performance related to share of customer wallet and market share, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Assist in the development of predictive models and forecasting techniques to support strategic planning and decision-making, enhancing the organization's ability to anticipate future trends and opportunities.
  • Provide historical trend analysis and forecasting inputs to support annual demand planning, promotional strategies, and portfolio investment decisions.
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance across digital, print, and event channels to identify performance drivers and opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports that provide visibility into product portfolio trends, customer behavior, and marketing ROI.
  • Support cross-functional teams by delivering insights on legacy product performance and channel effectiveness.
