Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate's, Bachelor's, or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
  • Team player with strong communication skills for effective collaboration with other departments.
  • Previous experience in direct management/supervision of field technicians in the automated door or construction industry.
  • Proven experience in planning and successfully executing contractual projects in the construction sector.
  • Experience supervising administrative staff for scheduling, ordering, and installation coordination.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including different times of the day and weekends if necessary.
  • Experience in installing electro-mechanical products is desired.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Demonstrated experience in developing relationships with general contractors and end-users in retail, healthcare, government, and other sectors, as well as with subcontractors.
  • Proven experience in managing suppliers and processing orders to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Experience in establishing monthly forecasts and tracking performance.
  • Proficiency in computer tools, including Microsoft Office and Baan.

Nice To Haves

  • University degree (AA, BA, BS) preferred.
  • Experience in installing electro-mechanical products.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage all installation technician activities.
  • Manage multiple installation projects monthly, including ordering and provisioning all equipment through the factory and customer service.
  • Coordinate all project planning with the end customer.
  • Achieve established goals and growth targets under the direction of the Operations Manager or District Director.
  • Supervise and delegate responsibilities to administrative staff for scheduling, ordering, and installation coordination.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with end-users in healthcare and retail, as well as general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and suppliers.
  • Maintain communication with the factory regarding the order book and project launches (work in progress).
  • Continuously interact with the sales department to correctly define project work hours and margins.
  • Regularly review forecasts and projection reports.
