Requirements

  • Previous experience of 3 years in selling software or consulting services, or an engineering background, is an asset.
  • Proven experience in using a sales methodology to generate leads, open doors, and manage the sales cycle until contract signing.
  • Knowledge of fee agreements is an asset.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, independent thinker, persistent, and with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Strong customer focus, interpersonal skills, and team spirit.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) combined with strong listening skills.
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
  • Own a vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required. This position involves regular verbal and written communication with non-French-speaking clients across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads by studying the market and cultivating your personal network, and create partnerships with incubators to obtain recommendations.
  • Maintain close contact with consultants, external professionals, and associations to identify and develop commercial leads through recommendations.
  • Manage the entire sales process for all commercial leads.
  • Identify decision-makers, schedule meetings, meet qualified prospects, and implement appropriate sales techniques and the sales cycle to close deals.
  • Diagnose the business climate, challenges, strategic needs, and pain points of potential clients and develop a real value proposition to positively impact their businesses.
  • Work with management to develop sales/marketing strategies and to penetrate new markets.
