About The Position

This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. We are seeking a kind, patient, and encouraging Respite Provider to support a child in the Eau Claire community. This role focuses on creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment while engaging the child in activities she enjoys and helping her build confidence and independence.

Requirements

• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience working with children with Autism and PTSD
• Patient, dependable, and nurturing approach

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one respite care in community settings
• Engage the child in preferred activities such as: Chaos Water Park, Trampoline park, Park outings (swinging), Art and crafts
• Provide gentle reminders and cues for bathroom use
• Ensure the child’s safety and well-being at all times
