About The Position
This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Respite Provider to work with an energetic young girl in the Eau Claire, WI area. The ideal candidate would be someone who can manage anger outbursts and promote self-regulation and coping skills.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in caregiving, childcare, or respite is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide 1v1 supervision and companionship.
- Provide support during transitions and new routines.
- Deescalate heightened behaviors
- Hang out and have fun! This kiddo enjoys art and crafts, going to the park, singing, dancing, car rides (with aux control), and so much more..!
