About The Position

The Retreat at Hampshire Woods is a short-term respite program for adults (18+) who need further stabilization for mental health and substance use. The program has 5 on-site beds and 8 mobile beds. The Retreats offers numerous services to clients both on-site and mobile, including in-house groups and case management, as well as connecting clients with outside resources. The program can tailor some aspects of programming to meet various client needs, such as recovery from substance use or mental health symptoms. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, dedicated, and a team-player. We are currently seeking Full-time Staff, second shift (3pm-11pm) Tuesday - Saturday.

Requirements

Written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with computers
Background screening including a CORI and motor vehicle record check
Reliable vehicle for work use
MAP certified, or willing to become MAP certified

Bachelor’s Degree
Abundance of heart and the ability to establish caring, meaningful relationships

Responsibilities

Providing direct services to program clients living in a respite setting
Supporting clients' activities of daily living, administering medications as needed
Develop professional and supportive relationships with clients and provide informal counseling and guidance with a person-centered focus
Facilitate daily groups
Provide case management services
Maintain a therapeutic milieu
Work with members of our community who have mental illness
