About The Position

Consumer Direct Care Network is recruiting a Respite Provider to support a youth in Wisconsin. The provider will assist the member with activities at home and in the community, helping them maintain safety, independence, social engagement, and participation in their interests. The member enjoys Pokémon Go, Dungeons & Dragons, technology-based activities, community outings, walks, bike rides, and cross-country activities.

The position offers approximately 8 hours per week, primarily during late-afternoon hours, plus two days per month. Services take place in the member’s home and throughout the community, providing a variety of activities and settings. Pay is $17.66 per hour or $256 per day. If hired by the member or their Managing Party, that party—not CDCN—will be the legal employer and will make hiring and dismissal decisions. CDCN assists with recruiting a Direct Care Worker.

Requirements

• Be dependable, patient, and compassionate.
• Be able to engage in both active community outings and home-based activities.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Have auto insurance.
• Pass required background checks.
