About The Position
SANZIE Healthcare Services is actively hiring Respite Care Providers to fill urgent client needs, including overnight (awake & asleep) shifts. This role offers critical support to families while ensuring a safe and structured environment for clients with developmental disabilities and special needs. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Ability to work independently, including overnight shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain quickly)
Nice To Haves
- Developmental disabilities and/or autism support
- Behavioral support/de-escalation
- COMP Waiver experience
- Previous caregiver or DSP experience
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and companionship in home or community settings
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Support recreational, social, and life-skill activities
- Provide overnight monitoring (awake or sleeping shifts), including safety checks
- Follow care plans and behavioral support strategies
- Ensure client safety at all times
- Complete documentation accurately and promptly
