About The Position
This role involves assisting in the delivery of vital respiratory therapies to patients, ensuring they receive the necessary support for pulmonary recovery. The technician will also be responsible for preparing and maintaining treatment areas in safe and sanitary conditions, managing inventory of respiratory supplies and equipment, and coordinating routine maintenance for respiratory technology to ensure proper functioning and safety standards.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Enrolled in a CoARC approved Respiratory Care Program.
- Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering vital respiratory therapies, ensuring each patient receives the baseline support needed for pulmonary recovery.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas in safe, sanitary conditions.
- Monitor and maintain an accurate inventory of essential respiratory supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate and document routine maintenance to guarantee all respiratory technology is functioning properly and meeting rigorous safety standards.
