Requirements

  • Current RRT or CRT Florida Licensure.
  • Knowledge of teaching and training on use of equipment
  • Knowledge of and ability to use software, EHR for proper documentation
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
  • Clinical acumen
  • Ongoing commitment to excellence in Respiratory Care
  • Patient-centered care

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in their homes by delivering, setting up, and ensuring the safe and effective use of prescribed respiratory equipment.
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on proper equipment operation, maintenance, cleaning, safety precautions, and troubleshooting to promote confidence and continuity of care.
  • Assess patients’ respiratory needs, verifying that equipment is functioning properly and adhering to physicians’ orders and established clinical protocols.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for patients while maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating with healthcare providers and internal teams, and delivering a compassionate, patient-centered experience.
