About The Position

This is a part-time position with a rotating shift. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure all areas of the hospital are adequately supplied with necessary respiratory therapy supplies, including oxygen tanks. The individual will be responsible for checking portable oxygen tanks on each unit, ordering supplies for the department, cleaning and stocking supplies, stocking respiratory supplies in the CCU/CVU, and maintaining the neatness and organization of the oxygen shed and the oxygen room on Xavier 2.

Requirements

• Minimum High School graduate or equivalent
• Student in a Respiratory Therapist program strongly preferred
• Previous experience in a Hospital or physician’s office preferable

Responsibilities

• Checks portable oxygen tanks on each unit
• Orders supplies for the respiratory therapy department
• Cleans and stocks supplies in the respiratory therapy department
• Stocks respiratory supplies in the CCU/CVU
• Keeps the oxygen shed neat and orderly
• Keeps oxygen room on Xavier 2 clean and organized
