About The Position

This role involves providing supervised evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies within the student scope of practice. The intern will administer prescribed medications and treatments, adjusting care based on clinical outcomes and patient response. Key responsibilities include monitoring, documenting, and communicating changes in patient condition to the care team, ensuring accuracy in all records. Additionally, the intern will educate patients and families on disease management, prescribed medications, and treatment protocols to support recovery.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.
Must be enrolled in accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
