Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.
Nice To Haves
- Must be enrolled in accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervised evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies within the student scope of practice.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, adjusting care based on clinical outcomes and patient response.
- Monitor, document, and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team, ensuring accuracy in all records.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, prescribed medications, and treatment protocols to support recovery.
