About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Omaha, NE. This role involves providing critical respiratory care to patients, managing various respiratory conditions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Active Nebraska Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
• Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Experience with invasive and non-invasive ventilator management
• Experience with ABGs
• Experience in critical care settings
• Strong assessment skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong critical thinking skills

Nice To Haves

• Current NRP certification
• Current PALS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients.
• Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilator support.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis.
• Provide care in critical care settings.
• Assess patient conditions and develop care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
