Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with minimum 4 + years of experience.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; ability to obtain & maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings as well as follow and enforce safety procedures.
  • Ability to construct metal framing partition walls, to include drywall finishing and painting to a level 5 finish.
  • Skill in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating environment.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
  • Records maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of carpentry duties as assigned.
  • Provide carpentry services, including: Design, construction, installation, and repair of wooden fixtures and structures (e.g., cabinets, furniture, shelving, doors, plaques, and custom wood products).
  • Framing and finish work.
  • Painting and staining.
  • Installing ceiling tile grids.
  • Installing commercial-style carpet tiles.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance as assigned.
  • Conduct jobsite troubleshooting.
  • Perform primary project layout and carpentry production.
