About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join a dynamic healthcare team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience and the ability to provide high-quality respiratory care in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC
- Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work night shifts and a variable schedule
Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
- Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator management
- Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust care plans as needed
- Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Respond to emergency situations, including code blue and rapid response events
