About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to provide high-quality cardiopulmonary care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy (required)
• Active state license/registration as a Respiratory Therapist (required)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care clinical experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and positive pressure ventilation
• Assist physicians with initiation and maintenance of mechanical ventilation
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) when required
• Conduct pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas sampling (radial arterial punctures)
• Monitor patient responses to respiratory therapies and adjust treatment as needed
• Provide care to pediatric and adult patients as applicable
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
