About The Position
The Respiratory Therapist demonstrates solid knowledge and working proficiency in respiratory care practices, procedures, and techniques. The therapist is responsible for patients assigned to their care within the scope of Respiratory Care.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited Respiratory Care program.
- NBRC certification as a CRT or RRT.
- Active Kentucky Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within one week of hire and before providing direct patient care.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to assigned patients using appropriate practices, procedures, and techniques.
