About The Position
The Respiratory Therapist demonstrates solid knowledge and working proficiency in respiratory care practices, procedures, and techniques. The therapist is responsible for the patients assigned to their care and provides care within the scope of Respiratory Care. This is a full-time, first-shift position, with every third weekend required.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited Respiratory Care program.
- NBRC certification as a CRT or RRT.
- Active Kentucky Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification due within one week of hire and before providing direct patient care.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification due within six months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to patients assigned to their care within the practices of Respiratory Care.
