Requirements
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Washington D.C. required
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a Long-term care or nursing home setting is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being
- Assess, plan, and perform respiratory treatments based on individualized care plans
- Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment safely and effectively
- Document care provided and ensure compliance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Educate residents and families on respiratory health, therapies, and proper equipment use
